Runes and Rigs LLC was founded by Charles Warren, who grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma. After eight years of military service and surviving the high cost of living in San Diego, he returned to Oklahoma in 2013 looking to get back to his roots. In 2015, he settled on a small property near Maramec and quickly ran into a problem familiar to a lot of rural landowners: there was almost nobody local to call for help, and the contractors willing to make the drive out charged steep mileage on top of the job itself. He started learning to handle the work himself out of necessity, and it didn’t take long to realize that if he couldn’t find help nearby, his neighbors probably couldn’t either.
That experience shaped Runes and Rigs into more than a one-service operation. Alongside hauling, site preparation, and landscaping work, the business has grown to include welding and fabrication, mechanical repair, and electronics and computer support, skills picked up the same way the equipment was: by needing them first and getting good at them after. Rather than specializing narrowly, Runes and Rigs operates as an integrated service platform built to handle a wide range of project types without requiring clients to coordinate multiple contractors.
Runes and Rigs LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business primarily serving northeast Payne and southwest Pawnee counties, with the equipment and hands-on versatility to take on work that a lot of larger or more specialized outfits aren’t set up for.
Whether it’s a single afternoon of cleanup or an ongoing project across the season, Runes and Rigs approaches every job personally, with clear pricing worked out up front in the quote. Reach out to talk through what you need done.
